I Wasn't Born Yesterday: January 2010

IT IS TRUE....I TURNED 60!!!!

Here I am here on my 1st Birthday

Much thanks to my friends and family who tried to cheer me up.

The best thing that happened on my Birthday was this card my kids made me:

I won't list all 60 but some of these are pretty funny and some are just my favorite:

Doug - She puts up with me
Holly- She gives me compliments even when she feels yucky
Lex- She cooks a good Sunday dinner
Mason - She is my BYU football watching buddy
Analyn- She has fun sleep overs
Luke-I like to go to big Grandmas house
Robin - I love how she eats popcorn [Robin eats it the same way]
Nate- She is a good organizer of family parties
Nikki - She has a very strong spirit
Aaron - She loves to celebrate
Emma - She loves me
Lindsey- She gives good hugs
Christian - She gives good goodbyes
Mac- She laughs at what I say even when I am not joking
Priscila - She is more than a mother-in-law, a friend
Lili - Grandma is Grandma
Carly - She is always up for a movie date, especially involving a romantic comedy and popcorn [and a diet coke]
Farrah - I like it when Grandma stays home from work.
Grandma Loujean - She takes me to see music programs

That is one for everyone that participated.

A few more that made me laugh:

Robin - Thanks to her I know what the color periwinkle is.

Mac - She believes in me even when I try to convince her otherwise.

Carly - She is always thinking/worrying about her family and putting their names on the temple prayer rolls.

Robin - She's beautiful without lipstick

Robin - she knows how to cut a straight line [ask me]

And last but not least from Carly - She want's nothing more

than for her loved ones to be HAPPY

Thanks to "all" for the cards, calls, letters, and gifts on what could have been a very depressing day.
