A PRINCESS TURNS 6......

BIRTHDAY PRINCESS

Today is Linds B-Day.

We get to have cake and ice cream at her house tonight.

Here are some of my favorite pics of Linds:

What a sweet baby she was....

Her 1st 4th of July

Lindsey at 4

Lindsey at 5

Things I love about Lindsey:

She does not need to be entertained. She will play for hours by herself.

She loves Princesses and makes a fine one herself.

She loves to color......all day long.....literally.

She loves to swim and jump on the tramp.

She does not have to be the center of attention, she is happy just being here.

She has the sweetest smile and the best hugs [when she will share them]

She loves to look nice when she dresses up.

I love Lindsey.

Happy Birthday....Birthday girl....!!!!

Christmas time, Easter Rhyme, won't you be my Valentine..

Labor Day, month of May, scratch by back for me....

January, February, June, or July....Happy Birthday to you.

Love, Grandma

Oh what to you do in the summer time??????

Why, play Soccer of course!!
In all the years I coached and watched my kids play soccer, I never dreamed I would be watching my grandkids play soccer. It sneaks up on you fast!!!!
This weekend was the "Cache Valley Shootout" held in Hyrum.
Analyn's Team is called the "Warriors".
Analyn is the goalie.

Her team went to the championship game on Saturday.

Analynn had about 10 saves and a shut out. The score was 4-0.

She was totally awesome.....

They played a really hard team, but the Warrior's were the better team on Saturday.

They are coached by a former team mate of my kids at Weber High Nikki Dagley Roylance. Thanks, Nikki!!!

Happy Warrior winners....

Nothing like a kid and a trophy.

And like all soccer trophy's this one too will probably end up in a pile or a heap in the basement where only those who wander down to the black hole will see them and in time even the memories will fade.....but for now......

GO WARRIORS!!!!

4th of July in Eden......

What the World needs now is Love sweet love and I LOVE the 4th of July in Eden.
Where else can you get Breakfast and then have the county shut you down because you have no permit...woops!!!!
Who knew there was a "scrooge" in July.
Where else can you have Brenda Murray and daughter lead you in Patriotic Songs?

Where else can you have a "Primary Parade" where the Fire Department engine and ambulance is longer than the whole parade?

Nik and Aaron's family came for the fun. Here are some Pic's from the parade.

Emma

Linds

Christian

Farrah

Campbell wasn't into the parade but she was into swinging and this old comb.

We had great fun in Eden!!!!!

Then went to Huntsville to their parade...way too BIG for us.

LouJean and I listened to the "Patriotic Program" at the Bowery while everyone else walked around and talked to old friends and family.

Had a "Hot Dog" roast for lunch and watched the Huntsville Fireworks from our bedroom window and the Liberty and Wolf Creek Fireworks from the Bathroom window.

We were in bed by 10:30 with no traffic to contend with and no mosquito bites.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!

One more picture...this is why I LOVE the Eden Parade...everyone cheers for everyone!!!!

Thanks Kelly!
