This was not really the FINAL Challenge, but it was the BIG one.
The one that really tested your limits.
Take a peek....
The anticipation.....the butterfly's....the equipment... The rope climb.....way up there... The rope was pretty tricky... Maureen makes it look easy.... Wendy braves the "walk".. Nedra steps out of her comfort zone... Lindsey......youth is a wonderful thing...Our fearless leader.........
Sheri is almost to the zip line..... Teresa makes it look easy. Jenny gets help from her friends who haul her from the bottom...
to the top and then let her go.
Jenny tore her ACL just before the retreat.
Everyone made it...here she [Laura?] goes!!!!!!!!!!! And my personal favorite:
See Tif
See Tif do the challenge
See Tif do a backward full pike, roundoff back handspring..
This taught team work and taught us to just hold on to each other when things get tough.
Swing to the Island
Now how are all of us going to fit on that island?
Two more to go.....hold on tight!
TahDah!!!
The next challenge was a brain twister.
A Spider web with a hole for each participant to go thru.
Can't touch the web, and need help from both sides.
Some crawled thru .... while others tried to figure it all out Some went head first.... Some low-crawled... Some went feet first.. Everyone helped it work..
Almost done.....You can do it!!!!
It was all great fun!!!
And the lesson we learned is It takes a "Village" to keep the "Spiders" away.
The second day of the retreat was spent on the challenge course.
Here is a look at a few of the challenges.
Be a good listener. Trust your partner. Focus only on your partnersinstructions. The moral here is that in life you will have many promptings to do good or bad. Learn to listen and decipher what is good. Focus on good things.

Challenge #2
Trust/Teamwork/balance.
Object is to weave everyone off the log without knocking anyone off. It took a lot of hugs and teamwork but they did it.
