This morning myself and some of my hiking friends hiked the Indian trail. This is an annual hike we do sometimes more than once. We are getting ready for our big hikes to the "Wind Rivers" in August. It was a great hike! The weather was perfect. At 6:00 AM it is still pretty cool and I love that. I had great conversations with Sally [she makes me laugh], met a new friend [Vickie] and it made me excited for our trip. Remember when you look at the pictures it was 6:00 AM and so no make-up, except for lip stick on me. A girl can't be caught without her lip stick, now can she? I hiked with Sally [she has "Pincombitis"] which is what I call her calf pain brought on from wearing high heels all winter]. The up hill is a killer for her. I enjoyed being at the back of the pack. I have wasted years being near the front trying to be the first to get to our destination. How fun it was to enjoy the ride. I guess that is like life isn't it? We are so anxious to get to the next goal, or next event, that sometimes we forget to enjoy the ride. Well, today was one of those "ahhhhhh" mornings where everything was perfect. I am looking forward to getting to know Vickie more and I can't wait til our next hike!

Hi Colleen - I randomly came across this blog from Mandee's. I love the Pincombe's - and Sally is wonderful. they are a neat, 'unique' family - no one else like them in the world!
I think it is so neat how you hike with your friends. Getting to visit with friends while exercising - what could be better?
